I have two female Guppies, one looks more pregnant than the other. Around the 1st I moved them both into a 5 gallon tank with lots of fake and live plants. On the 6th I noticed one little fry.
Here is the fry 11/6
The two girls 11/6
I was hoping I was going to see more... my thoughts were the larger girl dropped the one. The fry don't seem to be underdeveloped. I know they could have eaten others. I keep the girls VERY well fed on pellets and brine shrimp to help avoid that. They both still looked the same, not fat from eating, nor did they lose the size of their spot.
It's been 5 days...
Here is the fry now (at top of pic)
Here is the what I think is the farther along girl
and the other one in there...
(excuse the mess, they are due for a vacuuming today)
Who do you think could have dropped the fry? Should I expect more or put one or both back in the community tank? I don't know when they last drop was. What I thought was a small
Guppy fry was some type of larva.
Thanks for your help!
