Growth on Molly

We have a lyretail molly, who is over 2 years old who was born with a crocked spine, and had one fin that was considerably smaller than the other. In the past few weeks, there has been a growth of some sort on his fin. It is much darker in color than the rest of his body. His behavior and appetite haven't changed. The growth is roughly the size of a pea. Any ideas as to what this is?

Thank you for your reply. We have had the same fish in the tank for over a year. And no other fish have any type of growth and/or are sick
