I purchased 3 Dalmation Mollies on Saturday, 2 females & a male, I suspected 1 of the females was pregnant, well on Monday I had 4 fry, so far they are making it and today I got home and there are more, I now have 10 or 12, I do not yet have a setup to pull them out of the tank, can I leave them in and any survive? The only other fish in the tank is a Dwarf Gourami as I had just gotten through with a fishless cycle with the tank, these 4 fish were the first to go in.
If I can keep them alive, how do I go about vaccuming the tank without sucking them out? Thursday is my water change day and I wanted to see what my best route was before cleaning tank.
And yes this are my first fish, but I have been studying them for a while because I didn't want to just get fish and throw them in a tank and see what happened. I have been reading a lot of posts on the forum and also gotten some help on my initial set now almost 2 months ago. The thing I was not counting on was fry in 48 hours of bringing fish home and then them surviving for more than a day with the Gourami in the tank anyway.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
