Fry Eyes

Hello---
I have seen the fry eyes in my Oreo Platys belly for a week now, but she's still not very robust yet. Any guess on how much longer until she drops? Also, the male keeps chasing her---should I move HER to a breeder tank in case she's dropping now or move HIM to a new home for a while so he stops bothering her?

I answered my own question---about a week until they appear---I got home from the LFS, and I had 2 fry in the tank! Rescued them and moved the dad---problem solved, for now!

good move! way to go.its a great feeling to see fry in the tank.congrats.

Thanks! Now I'm waiting for both of my Milk & Ink Platys to give birth. Let the waiting game begin...

Good luck with your fry! I've tried to get my Sterbai to lay eggs, and when it finally happened, the father swam up the side of the tank and ate them before I could even remove anyone! What's the secret to saving the eggs?

even after .....7 drops of fry i still get exited to see fry in my tank :):):)...good luck with yours....any chance of a pic???
