Fries Care

Hey, my black mollies gave birth to 18 fries, 3 of which are white in color!!! Please guide me for their care , their food and all. I have placed them in a separate bowl, so that they are not eaten up by other fishes.

I would suggest getting a 10 gal tank for them, use some substrate and maybe a decoration from a cycled tank, throw in some live plants and a sponge filter. Feed them tiny amounts of finely crushed flakes and do a 20% water change twice a week. Keeping the water pristine will aid growth. :)

Agree with the above, fry don't release much ammonia so you really don't have to move that much stuff over for the tank to be cycled in the new tank. I just got some Hikari First Bites fish food seems to be working good, of course if you dont mind grinding flakes down you can just do that. But may become annoying as you should feed them small amounts at least 3 or 4 times a day.

BTW welcome to TFK
