Freeze dried blood worms from Walmart

I was looking for something different to feed my platies. I found freeze dried blood worms at Walmart for $3.10. My platies didnt know what it was at first. But they eventually tried it. Now they go absolutely crazy when I feed them. I try to give them a variety and a good nutritional balance.

It's good to give your fish a varied diet. One tip on the dried bloodworms is to soak them in some aquarium water first for about 10 minutes before feeding them.

That way your fish don't have to swallow them dry and there's less chance for one getting caught in their throats.

Freeze dried blood worms are expensive than freeze dried tubifex, but what I have seen that my fish respond more to tubifex than bloodworms.
