| | yours look soo cute!!!!!! mine finally had their fry too!! 2 or 3 of the mothers had babies. the yellow Platy went first. and its been a few weeks. at first we thought of the original 7 seen the first morning that only 1 or 2 had survived the tankmates. but then we saw none, and it worried us. we kept diligent in feeding "first bites" and then about 2 weeks ago we counted 7 one day! 7 of yellow Platy momies babies made it! (all of the originall "litter") then a few nigths ago one of the gupies went. its very hard to tell who, but one did, and so far there are 4 tiny babies. and yesterday night i spotted an orange and black Platy fry, which was about 1/4th the size of the yellow platys fry, but i have only seen that 1, (the orange and black Platy became pregnant here). unfortunately i havent seen that orange and black fry since that 1 time last night. lets hope it is just hiding very well like its yellow Platy friends did when they were small. sorry to post this here, not trying to steal the thread, just wanted to tell you about it! do keep me posted on yours, they look like thyre growing really well!!! |
