i wouldnt be able to keep them and not let them breed because i dont have a second tank :(....plus if by accident they did breed it could cause fry from 1 female to be deformed and because they store sperm it could cause 3 different drops to be deformed :(....so no i wouldnt be able to keep the deformed 1nz :(

Cool

awww...sooo sad. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that this birth. I'd be devastated! On a happier note....here are my babies, their getting huge!! How big until I can put them in my 29 gal with the adults?? I can't wait!!

Weren't there two females that were gravid? Did they both deliver or did you leave one up to chance? The fry look great. I'm in the same boat, I'm ready for my fry to move back with the adults. They are with a guppy adult who has left them alone, so I'm optimistic.

How big are they?? Yea I had 2 females in the 5 gal, waiting on them to deliver. The orange one did, and I didn't want to take the chance of ALL of them getting eaten since I only found 8, so I moved both moms back to the 29 gal. I thought the red female was gonna die before she gave birth cuz it took so long. But I looked one morning and she was thinner, but no babies. I think they ate them all. Oh well. Nature i guess. At least I have 8 healthy babies....well 7 healthy ones. I just noticed tonight that one is deformed. I thought it just swam weird due to the current, but turns out it's tail is kinda messed up. I'm just going to see what happens though, or maybe I should put it in with the adults and let nature take it's course? I dont know. I hate killing anything, so I dont know what to do, and I dont want to take the chance of it breeding.....

awww..they all get along so far. Of course there are more dominant ones, but they all seem ok with eachother. The red wag seemed to have dropped her fry, but i think all got eaten. She's much smaller, but I see no fry.
