Cute! I'm excited for the red wag to have hers as well... hopefully you'll have a lot more than 6!

Question for you... How do you feed the babies without the adults snagging all the food? I just found some fry (hopefully I didn't vaccuum any up and out the window) in my big tank with adult fish. I know they need more feedings, but how do I do that without either leading the adults (who will eat til they explode) to them or accidentally starving them. I considered a transfer but I'm not equipped atm.

I've had some fry grow up in tanks with adult fish. They'll find some food and eat it and grow up if they are given enough places to hide. Of course, for me it was rare that a fish would grow up and become adult size. Most probably do starve or get eaten by the adults, but a few will survive if that what you want. If you wish to raise them and ensure they have a MUCH higher survival rate it's best to take them out... Might grow slower but some should reach adult.

Well I've noticed about 6 so far. The red wag is now bigger than ever, but still hasn't dropped. I hope she's ok. Anyways, here are some new pics of the babies. Their growing soooo fast!!
