I think Datnoids would be a really cool one also. I saw them, I think, at my LFS one day and I have not seen a fish move faster to catch a guppy. It is also funny to watch them because when they are small small you would never expect them to be able to swallow a guppy because of how small their mouth looks.

ok... well ideally i would like to get a tank that will fit in an alcove in my wall the alcove is about 66" wide ... it looks like a great place for a tank. i also love to grow live plants in my tank so if I can find a fish that doesn't eat or dig up live plants that would be a huge bonus.

ps. If there are no guppy-eating fish that would fit in a tank this size then i will probably just move my guppies to a larger tank and take the extra ones back to the fish store. i don't want any new fish to feel cramped..

What are the dims of this nook in the wall? its 66" long how deep and tall is it? Datnoids work great in planted tanks and like plants and driftwood so they can use there stripes to fit in.

If its a guppy and not a goldfish, then Betta fish eat guppies. I've seen it happen, i should know.....dont put them together or the betta will eat it. and a lot of petshops take fish to give them up for adoption or sell them.

Hi, I'm new.
