YAY!!!! The first fry! And I spotted it just swimming around the tank! I scooped it right up and put it in the breeder net and then I started watching my fish to see which was was having the babies. Of course, as soon as I start watching, the birthing stops! Anyways, I noticed that my black molly was acting weirder and less "feisty" than the other fish so I scooped her up and put her in the net also. I didn't want to have to do this, but I had no choice. My other female mollies and other fish are harassing her, chasing her around, nipping at her fins and stomach. She seemed very distressed.
So I put her in the breeder net with the one fry and all seems well. She's relaxing comfortably and doesn't seem to be bothered at all by the fact that she's in there. I think she's happy to have a break from the other fish.

update....I let the mom out of the net, and about 3 min later she died. Also both babies she had died. So I'm super stinking discouraged right now. I tested the ammonia levels because some of the fish seem like their gasping for air, and it was slightly high, so I did a partial water change and added ammonia remover, so well see what happens. It just seems like it's all going wrong all of a sudden and I've had this tank for about a year. I just don't get it.

She only had 3 babies, 2 of which were dead as soon as they came out of her. Then she started acting weird, and laid on the ground and died! It was so sad! Oh on top of it, the third baby ended up dying like 10 min after she had him. So I'm left with nothing but discouragement! :(

It's just bazaar! I feel so bad because I can't help her or comfort her! I wish they could speak and tell me what to do! Yea, I hope that platy is preggers!! I also think my dalmatian molly is preggers! Soooo excited for those, but a little worried. Don't want things to go wrong like my last 2 fish!
