fighting or mating?

my platys were going at it today i wasnt sure if they were fighting or mating they were just rubbing each other and poking each other there was no damage to the fish but should i be worried or is it just nothing

this is a male platy
this is the female
if yours are like this,then it's mating behaviour.
if it's two males,the are pushing for a dominant position.

if there is no damage then they were probally breeding, but if there is lots of damage seperate them
