dieing females

i have a 55 gal tank and my females ceep dying and not acting right i have gon thought 4 so got 3 more and just had another die and i only have one male who is doing great and hes lived thought it all

Are they pregant? Lets rewind. What is the tank size? What kind of fish? What ar amonia nit ect? How old is the tank? What happens befor they just die? If you could answer that hten i could better help you> thanks.

none of them are very far along in pregnancy the amonia im not but angel fish live in the tank with them i have 3 of them 5 zebra danios 3 banded rainbows 2 cory cats 3 bristnose plecos and thats all the tank is a 55gal had the tank tence july 09

Ok maybe elaberate a bit more. What fish is dying? I need to know what the amonia and nit, nitrates are. The tank is only a few months old. It may not be cycled for sum reason. Do your fish fight alot? If you could seperate your sentences so that way i could better understand them. Thanks. What temp is your tank set at? Do you do 25 percent water changes once a week? Have you added any type of cemicals?

We need some more info as indicated before. What type of live bearers?

At 85F you will keep losing common livebearers. They should be kept at less than 80F and many of them would be better off at 75F or less.
