| | Decided which guppy are staying
Well I finally moved my "inherited" fancy guppies to a 10 gallon. At least the babies and a few females and the male I want to keep. I'm sure from that number they will fill the tank for LFS exchange credits.
So now that makes two 10 gallon tanks of fancy guppies. One is just my Green Neon Tuxedo Moscows Buckman sent me. The other is "unknown fancy guppies" so I don't want to mix them.
The 15 gallon tall holds the Gold Dust Mollies fry and the cories. Some of the gold dust will go to LFS once larger and I pick the few keepers.
5 gallon holds guppies ready for LFS I don't want. Then will be hospital tank when it is sterilized.
Then one ten hold a single juvenile peacock as the two jewels keep laying eggs. Beginning to think both are female. If this batch doesn't make it they will go together in a holding tank while I tear town and do a thorough cleaning of that tank and gravel. (Will remove the peat subsoil and add a greater sand percentage to some of the gravel and replace as the substrate with the rocks). That should help the cichlids succeed if they lay again. If it doesn't I will assume they both are females and check into getting a male. I also will be working on a larger tank for the peacock.
