It is possible that he died and the others ate off the flesh. Although guppies won't "eat each other alive" if one dies they will pick at the flesh until nothing remains but the skeleton. And that being so small and fragile it may have simply disinigrated you having never seen it. Not to mention the other fish in the tank...gue cories being bottom feeders would surely have feasted on a carcass....idk, just a thought.

The funny thing is I saw him on Sunday in the evening and by Monday there was no traces at all.

leopard danios (danios rock)
green cories
ghost shrimp
