Brand new fry

I hope this doesn't make me appear to be too stupid, but I'm still new at having an aquarium and am learning new things all the time.

Here's my dilemma - my Red-Wag Platy gave birth to her fry today - about 20-25. I did a little research and found that I could crush up some of the food flakes into teeny bits for them to eat. That's what I have done. Do I continue this for awhile? Do they require more feedings than the adults?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Juveniles do require more feedings than adults as they are on growing stage. Do feed them 5-6 times a day sparingly but daily water changes are also a must to compensate for the amount of foods given. Vacuum any leftovers as these will rapidly deteriorate the water quality killing the fish.
