bleeding heart platys

i finally got some bleeding heart platys or tiger platys is there a diffrence ? any way only to have the vary gravid females both come down with fungus one week later grrrr this is aguvating trying to decid if i should wait out the birth or just get rid of them

Difference in what?

Do you have pics of the affected areas? True fungal infection is extremely rare. I believe what your platies may have could be the dangerous Flexibacter columnare, gram-negative bacteria that can kill your fish in advanced stages.
