What are he fastest breeding live bearers? I want to get a few just to experience the joy of fry...also what is the smallest tank that would be sufficient? I want guppies or swordtails....please let me know if anything else would be better or if you guys have anymore suggestions.

I also wanted to enjoy the experience of fry. Let me tell you as exciting as it is, it did not take long for them to take over my tank and make it crowded and they dont stop. Make sure you have a serious plan for the babies. I have guppies that have had at least 3 batches of babies. I love the babies they are the cutest but I have had to get a bigger tank. So get ready...................

so where could I find these guppies? Do I just buy feeder guppies and let them grow, or could I buy mature ones already?

I would get the ones with the fancy tails that way you get prettier fry..................I started with 3 females and 1 male in a 35 gal tank and now I have a bijillion fish in the tank. Make sure you have a backup plan, the females store sperm and can have several batches of fry every 28 days from one mating.
