hey i have more fry that were born a few weeks ago, and i believe that one of the females is pregnant... AND SQUARED OFF!!!! is this possible?!??! she's about as big as a cap eraser... she was being kept with her brothers so...... also, i put her in my main tank for a few hours one day to see how she would do, and i have an adult male guppy in there, so could that have done it? HELP PLEASE!!! Also, she doesnt have any color??!?!
Welll I don't understrand your question really. If it is a baby it might just be fat... it's probably too young to have babies... it could have gotten pregnant with males around. It will probably have unhealthy babies if it is pregnant and it might not survive. It's like if a 14 year old girl was pregnant... BAD.
i dont think shes pregnant. i have one month old guppy fry and i still cant even tell male from female and since that one is only a few weeks old i doubt it and i hope its not cause it can die.
Theirs a reason their called millions fish.
If you know anything about guppies you know the saying "Their born pregnant"
You can sex guppy fry at 2 weeks old, Maybe even sooner, They can breed at a very young age,
They just don't have the young until they are old enough too...
Guppies store Sperm, 1 mating can supple many batches of young without ever being with a male again.
