Little bit of background: I own two freshwater tanks. The first is a 10 gallon with 2 Platys, 1 Molly, 1 big ass (scuse' my French) Mystery Snail and dozens of baby mystery snails (the amount of snails don't bother me and they help keep the tank clean). The second tank is a 20 gallon hexagon with 1 Pleco, 4 Fancy Guppies, 4 Glo-fish Tetras, 4 Silver/Blue/Red Tetras, about 20
Guppy frye, a number of baby snails and eight ghost shrimp. I intend to take a currently pregnant
Guppy mother and all of it's recent frye to a pet store to bring down a possible overstock.
Question: After removing
Guppy and frye, would the fish in my first tank be compatible with the fish in the second tank? Would this be overstocking? All of the fish in the second tank live peacefully and so far none of the frye have been eaten. I would like to buy a mouse for the second tank. If not compatible I'll just wait for the fish in the first tank to live their lives out lol.
P.S. The pleco in the 2nd tank was previously in the 1rst tank a few months ago but when he started to grow I wanted him to have more room so I moved him to the 2nd tank.
