1 Gal Creamsicle / African Dwarf Frog

So, I set up a new 1gal tank, finally added some residents in it. It's acctually my girlfriends tank and it has a Creamsicle Mollie and an African Dwarf Frog. Any tips on decor, substrate, anything like that? Pictures attatched so you can see what I've got and their size.

Hi there,

The molly looks really nice and I like the african dwarf frog.

There's a few issues with the set up you might want to consider, though. The molly is a bit large for a 1 gallon tank, and if you happen to have another larger fish tank, you may want to consider relocating it and getting something smaller for that aquarium.

Another thing that's a pretty simple fix is that the african dwarf frog especially as well as the molly will appreciate a fake plant or two to hide in. ADF like places to nudge themselves into. :)

Lastly if you just set it up idk if you cycled it, but if it's not cycled let us know and we'll help you here.

The tank is cycled, helped it along with some stress zyme over a 2 week period. This is only a temporary home until my girlfriend settles in and purchases a larger tank. Tomorrow, we'll go and grab some substrate and decor plus some plants. She was just getting jealous because I've got 4 tanks set up throughout my home and she missed having a fish.

Ah, well seems like you got it covered! =) The molly is absolutely beautiful. It's a cute little tank you should keep it running with something smaller once you move the molly maybe.

Yeah, it's just a new species to me, both frog and molly. Thanks for the advice though :)
