yabbies

hi hi i am new to FF and quiet new to fish keeping
currently have a 22l tank with 2 small black moor and 1 BN plect

i m wondering if its possible to put wild caught yabbies into my FW set up as algae eater?

are they aggressive as normal shrimps?

They get from 4" - 8", and occasionally reach up to 12". It will quickly outgrow your tank. As they get older the become more aggressive so you may find your black moors or pleco gone one day.

hmm yeah i can see when i caught some larger ones during a case study for my degree... they jst snap each other's body parts... but the largest i have ever caught is around 6" .. so i m wondering if by the time they got larger i might be able to put them into an all yabbies diy plastic tank for my research..

i reckon they make very good scavenger dont they?

Yes they eat dead leaves, dead fish rotten stuff etc.

They will eat fresh stuff too though. :o
