I have already read that they don't mess with apples. Anyone have experience? What about:

zebra nerites
olive nerites
corona nerites ( I am most concerned for these since they are small)

Any snail you wish to keep alive should never be kept with assassins at all. And the first statement is completely wrong. Assassins are capable of attacking apple snails even as a team. I had to feed my excess supply of Pomacea canaliculata, a more aggressive species compared to the mystery snails and in order for the assassins to feed on the much more aggressive juvenile canas, they worked as a team taking in turns trying to liquidate the victim in the process.

I figured. All snails are just a ball of goo :) (that's my scientific name for it..just waiting for some know it all to correct me..lol) I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't mess with apples just because they are larger..? Assassins are still bringing a knife to the fight and the others are still defenseless.

It's only a matter of time before they start killing the apple snails.

+1 I have an assassin snail tank, and yes, multiple snails will attack and subdue a larger snail, including apples and mysteries.
