where did my snail go?

i just noticed in my tank two nights ago as i was doing my regular maintenance that my golden mystery snail shell was empty!! and i mean EMPTY! there was nothing in it at all! and i couldnt find any sign of the snail anywhere! my black snail is still in his shell and moving around and i was just wondering if maybe its possible that my gourami ate the snail or something? the only other tank mates are 2 platys, 1 guppy and 2 cories. what could have happened? and why no sign of it anywhere?? curious..

It could have died and the fish ate the remains. Not sure of this but it could be possible.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

It probably died and came out of the shell and was eaten (like Blue said); if it died, be glad you didn't find the remains (dead snails smell awful!

You know what the definition of hobby is: something of interest that is going to cost you lots of money!
