Well I don't know too much about snails and google has yet to point me in the right direction as to what these little buggers might be so....
As to be expected, I got a few hitchhikers on the live plants I purchased for my 10 gallon a while back but these definitely aren't your standard 'Mystery Snail' that usually come with plants and the like. I've had those before, they look nothing like these guys. Though maybe I'm wrong and it is some different kind of Mystery Snail, dunno.
So I'm curious, what kind of snail do I have here? They're kind of neat looking actually.
Heres a picture:

Its not the best, but they're still fairly small and difficult to spot, not to mention surprisingly quick.

Looks like a bladder snail. They stay pretty small.

These snails will help eat some algae in your tank. They will not eat your plants.
If you feed them or have any excess food in your tank, they can populate quickly. You can just remove any unwanted snails or squash them and feed to your fish.

Alright, so the basic snail care and whatnot
Not too worried about over populating, I'm very carful come feeding time and I have plenty of fish that would love a little snail snack every now and again
I'd like to keep a few though, they really are neat looking.
