How do you feed a snail zuchinni? I was told to just slice it, stick it with a fork and put the fork with the zuchinni in the fish tank.

How long do you leave it in the tank? I put it in yesterday and they haven't touched it.

i'd just leave it in for a day or so. too much longer, it'll start falling apart and leave a big mess for you. and it might even begin to rot.

If they don't seem to like it, try cucumber- my critters looove cucumber. also try lettuce, algae wafers, other things to make sure they're eating :)

sorry i didn't see this sooner!! i think typically, to stay on the safe side, just leave it in for 24-36 hours at most.

You don't think the metal of the fork will cause any harm to the water?

As long as it's made of stainless steel , as most are, it's ok. Forks can be made from different grades of stainless and though all will be fine, I use the better quality tableware in my tank.P.S. Make sure they're not made of silver. No silver.
