Question what do cray fish eat?????

my dad just bought a crayfish for my 29 gallon against my better judgement and he has already tried to eat my female betta fish and one of my ghost shrimp. I dont have anywhere else to put him and i'm nervous out of my mind that overnight he will kill one of my good fish. what do crayfish eat besides the obvious live fish. if i feed him more than usual i hope he wont go after my fish as much. this should just be a temporary thing because i will return him within the next couple of days.

I <3

Crayfish will kill stuff just cause quite often. If they can grab it, it will kill it, doesn't matter if it plans to eat it. Put it in a bucket.. with a lid, unless you have a better arrangement for it.

I replied to your other thread also, but depending on the cray, they will eat just about anything including eachother.

If you think I am too abrasive there is a little triangle icon in the bottom left of your screen to "report post".
