transfer a snail from fw to sw?

hello again! i was wondering what type of snail is it that comes in the plants. i searchedd the plants and found 2 they came in my pigmy chain swords and they were about the size of the tip of the pencil but now they are about the size of a jumbo marker tip. its been what about two to three weeks and they are growing fast. i have heard the horror stories of these guys overthrowing the tank, so i was thinking will it be alright if i place one inside a saltwater tank or is that a big nono? thanks :D

No...it will die in SW...and quite quickly.

If you have too many in your FW tank, either vacuum them out when you do water changes, or bait them with a veggie such as zucchini...
