The shell mantle for male canas is different in shape than female canas. This works for canas only, nothing else. And of course, I recognized the shell on a close look since I have only three original adults left with their F1 babies already sexually matured.

I have a 29 gallon tank with 4 black tetras, 1 zebra danio, 2 neon tetras, 2 orange finned tetras, 1 CAE, and 1 pleco.

How many ghose shrimp could fit comfortably in there, and will allow me to add more fish?

One 29 Gallon - Lots of Fish
One 10 Gallon - One White Crayfish
One 15 Gallon - Baby Bullfrogs

I am kinda regretting it now. I have several egg clutches and about 20 F2 babies are out.

Just make sure the ones you get are true ghosts because many macrobrachium species mistaken for ghosts are predatory. You can try 6 but you need to get rid of the CAE and the pleco assuming this is a common pleco species, not a bristlenose or anything of smaller species.

Thanks! I was already planning on getting rid of the CAE and my pleco is a bristlenose!
