Snail growth

What can I do to make my snails grow? I've had 6 ramshorns for about 2-3 months and they really haven't grown much. They have grown maybe 1/8- 1/4 inch putting them at about 1/2-3/4 inch.

are these common ramshorns? or columbian ramshorns? If commons, they don't get much bigger.

I had hoped it would get as big as my last one :( that would have been so sweet. Would a common and columbian cross breed? To try to make the pink line bigger?

I doubt they are gonna interbreed. Pretty different critters short of the shape of their shells.

Would be cool if they did because a huge red Ramshorn that didn't eat plants would be a nice snail to have.

As for the little ramshorns growth rates, it is pretty slow because they don't eat as much as fast as their bigger brothers. Mine usually took about 6-10 weeks to get to full size. When I had Colombians and I fed them a lot of Romaine they grew extremely fast. Never got the little ones to eat it though.
