snail and cichlids

I have a 29 gallon tank with 4 cichlids and a black spotted cattfish(unsure of the name) and a pleco. After more research I have figured the pleco wont last due to size. So I am thinking about going with snails but Im not sure what will go with cichlids well.

thanks

What species are your cichlids? Do you have photos of both your cichlids and catfish?

In my 80 gallon I have yellow labs and jewel cichlids with two mystery snails and they are fine (but they did eat the babys).

Mystery snails are still apple snails. You still have to monitor your snails very well and prepare a backup tank in case it does not work. What I would worry most is your synodontis catfish (possibly Synodontis ocellifer or a hybrid of S. eupterus and S. ocellifer).

Alright cool. Maybe Ill go save a couple of snails from petsupermarket then. Im thinking of putting 2 in my 29 and 1 in my 5. If they get picked on in my 29 would it be ok to put 2-3 in a 5 gallon?
