Snail?

I have asked this question before, so excuse my being redundant, but I have decided to post it here, hoping that someone who knows snails can help me out.

I have red algae in my 20g tank. I have cleaned the plants, decor, filters, and walls of aquarium. It is slowly but surely coming back, is there a type of snail that I can add to the tank that will love to eat this crap for me?
I am only going to buy one snail for the tank, so any help is appreciated.

75 gallon
1 pleco
1 OB Peac0ck
1 Yellow Lab
1 Blue Peac0ck
1 Greshakei
1 Red Peac0ck
1 Acei
1 Chailosi
1 Flameback
1 Rock Kribensis
1 CAE

20 gallon
2 female bettas
6 emerald green cories

2 dogs Diesel and Hummer!

Red algae is diatoms. Nerite snails will do the job perfectly well but be sure your water is hard and alkaline as soft acidic will erode their shells. Dosing calcium will be necessary in this case to keep their shells thick. The one by Kent for marine is your best bet. Dilute it before adding to the tank as it will burn the skin of the snails if added directly.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
