The tablets dissolve almost instantly into a little pile of white powder with little flurries all over the tank. I don't think a switch is needed. Stick with what's cheapest.

The powder I have is 100% pure Calcium Citrate powder. 1 Tsp for 700 mg and I usually put in a tblsp so I am dosing plenty. Oh well sooner or later I will figure out how much to dose and how much to feed and how often. then they will grow and multiply and i will have to figure ot out again, lol.
