Shrimp habitat question

So I saw something at Petco that was too small for any fish, but might be good for cherry shrimp. It was a 2 gallon fish bowl. The thing is, it came with a suitable filter with carbon and an LED, which is good because it might look good with plants. So would 5 shrimp be OK in here?

+1 a 2 gallon bowl is more like a plants / snail only set up.

If you think I am too abrasive there is a little triangle icon in the bottom left of your screen to "report post".
