SAE's

Are Siamese algae eaters snail safe? I currently have a school of neon/cardinal tetras, three rummy noses, one pearl gourami, the SAE, and a snail in a 12 gallon, and the snail has suddenly gotten smaller antennae...I suspect the SAE, but I have yet to witness this insubordination....Any help will be..eh helpful.

I have a SAE in a 55gal with a lot of pest snails. I don't think he bothers them since they are always there.

.... I'm probably drunk.

This is how I lurk

Yes, but how are Bernard's anntenae shrinking? It's not the tetras....the pearl gourami is on your safe snail list...I'm all out.

Neon tetras would be the likeliest culprit. They have occasionally been suspected to be the ones responsible for fin nipping of bettas and most long finned specimens.
