I saw my red cherry shrimp is dead. I have 6 of them in there but can only locate 3, plus the dead one. I'm afraid the others are dying/dead.
What do you think went wrong?
My tank temp is colder (72 degrees) and contains 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and 0 nitrates (using the API master test kit). There was a small ammonia spike (below .25 ppm) recently when I added two new loaches.
The tank is a 37 gallon planted tank. I haven't fed the shrimp any special food. I assumed they would eat the leftover algae wafers or the live plants.
Can anyone think of why my shrimp died? It was rather expensive so I'm very upset.
