ramhorn snail -- Question

I am over populated with ramhorns i am clearing out as many as i can but they keep coming does lettuce and cucumber really work??

2nd question i have is could i use human shrimp food put it in a jar and get rid of the snails that way as they are over populated in my shrimp tank and in my betta tank..?

Do you mean food for human shrimp or shrimp that humans eat? I would just try the cucumber or some broccoli at night and then early in the morning while they are still eating it you can scoop them out. I dead shrimp will foul the water, and can possibly affect your betta and shrimp.

I was thinking about shrimp that we as humans eat as i didnt have any cucumber or lettuce.. but i will stick with the lettuce. thanks for the help

and stop overfeeding. If you have an overpopulation of ramshorns, you 100% are overfeeding.

If your fish are fed the right amount, then nothing hits the gravel. The ramshorn snails don't have food. They don't breed hardly at all.
