New tank, stringy build-up from snail?

my girlfriend and I just recently moved and we had to leave our old 60 gal. tank behind but we wanted to bring our snail with us... i believe he's an apple snail if it matters, about 5 inches round. we put him in our freshwater tank (10 gal) about a week after we got it up to temp. and the cycle started.... and now there are these strings of white stuff like lace or thread all over with messes of gunk (lack of better word)

i dont know if it's plants coming from the algae on his shell or if its poop or eggs or maybe something worse... we planned on adding fish soon but this may be a setback.

i cant give insight on what it is, but ive had thad problem before! when i had a diy co2 the stringy white stuff was where the co2 was coming out on an airstone, then i unhooked it and all that stuffed died, now ive got some growing in a different tank on my banana plant! ill get a picture soon to see if were having the same problem

hmmmm i havent hooked up my stone yet (need to buy a serge protector because the spot with the tank is lacking a few outlets. also i dont have any live plants atm. it seemed to be expelled from the right side of the snail in an opening but i could be completely wrong.... i doubt its poop since its so long and white and there's only one snail so he couldnt of had babys since he's a apple snail (and it looks nothing like what the eggs should look like)

oh it actually came out of your snail? well then i have no idea, maybe he ate something nasty and just need to get rid of it or something.

Its probably his slime trail. I have a 29g snail only tank and its covered with little bubbly trails of slime.
