Post Nerite Snails and driftwood

I've just got 3 tiger blood nerite snails to help with an algae problem and while one is out on the walls, the other two I've noticed have been hanging onto my driftwood. Is this something to worry about or would they leave on their own accord sometime in the near future? Would it hurt them any if I took them off of it whenever I have to clean the tank?

I wouldn't worry about it; sounds normal. They will move throughout the tank in search off food and will even leave the water as they are tidal creatures.

Yeah, but I'm hoping they don't try to leave the tank altogether, or else I would probably either find a dried up corpse, with either eyes or nose, or my boot might find them by accident.
