Mystery Snail Trivia

Ok, here is the question. Those that know anything about them tell me the ages and if you can which are male and female from the pictures. I know which is which and which ones are older at least for the most part. I just want to see if anyone can guess. Just the large Mystery snails in the center, not the ramshorns.

Have fun.

(Trishfish, you have to wait for 2 days ;))

Well the largets one is the male, the medium on above is the female who has been laying the clusters and the purple one is from Trish and is about 10 weeks old or so, thanks you again Trishfish.

I was wondering because I hope to be able to keep record of the purples to see which ones wind up being the largest and which ones wind up male or female.

I also thought it was odd because most of the things I had read state that the female is normally larger in which case I don't know if I want to see how big a female mystery snail could get!

I'm sure mystery snails are one of the relatively few snails that are not hermaphrodites. Either the source was full of rubbish, or you just picked it up wrong methinks. :)
