I bought a "Dwarf Orange Lobster" at Fishtown in Ramsey NJ yesterday. I've only been in there a few times, but he had them in stock most times I was there. Is that the same as a CPO?

I really don't think so.
I believe lobsters are saltwater... crawfish are freshwater.

Also, lobsters get large I believe.

Yeh I almost made the mistake of buying an orange lobster. They get way bigger and much more aggresive than the CPO. Actually it was Angel that steered me away from it. Orginally I thought it was the same thing also.

These guys were in the freshwater section. I'm pretty sure they weren't actually salt-water lobsters. I'll try and snap a pic if I ever see the little guy again - he seems to really like the caves in my tank.

I visited the new LFS yesterday that uses the same breeder. I made the mistake of taking my fiance for the ride. Immediately he fell in love with what was labeled an "orange lobster". He was tiny and the fiance kept going on and on about how slow he is and how he couldn't hurt anything in the tank. He was in with some red phantom tetras which made it even more convincing for him. Keep in mind I have Angels in the tank along with cories. I felt bad finally saying, "The answer is no. Stop asking." He's 31...LOL.

LOL. It's not the money I'm worried about. Lobsters are aggressive and it would eventually go after the fish. Besides my cories lve on the bottom too. Doesn't make for a good combination. He doesn't realize you can't just throw anything in a tank. If it looks cool he wants it.

P.S. When will you be in Mexico? I'm going from 4/17-4/27.

So did you order some now?

Cray vs Lobster: Don't get that mixed up people they'll both live in freshwater (and of cause there's SW lobsters too) BUT Lobsters slightly look different, get MUCHHHH larger then Cray's and most important to many of us Lobster WILL snack your plants in 24hrs or less and most available lobsters also your fish. CPOs do NOT snack on plants and NOT eat other fish or shrimp etc!!!

Look at the pictures provided here or in my aquarium log's CPO tank and compare them to this lobster http://www.seamatetrading.com/images...1248166485.jpg
Ya'll need to check the "front looks" of them things before winding up with a great deal of trouble at home.
