I agree with this. Luckily for me I adore loaches and four different species in two of my five tanks. I have zero, not even one, snail in the tanks the loaches are in. Dwarf chain loaches (Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki)
stay very small, are incredibly cute, are fun to watch, and get along with everyone. They are voracious snail eaters.
They need to be in a group, minimum of five, as these fish are very social and require their own kind in order to thrive.
I put an Assasin snail in my 6gl shrimp farm tank a few weeks back. The MTS in there were plentiful and I have seen the numbers dwindle. I find the Assasin snail to be a very pretty snail.
