Mexican dwarf orange Crawfish

I saw these at my lfs and did some research online but has seen some mixed things about them. Some say they are super friendly and easy to breed while others say they are cannabalistic and hard to breed and violent. Has anyone had any experience with these? At the aquarium, they cost 20$ each! and they arent even the size of my fingernail!

While I'm not familiar with this species, crayfish in general are cannabalistitc and violent.

Not sure about the kind you're asking about, but as far as I know, all crayfish are cannibals. They will prey on newly molted ones. Some kinds are more aggressive than others and will literally chase less aggressive ones around the tank.

You need a lot of hiding places so others can't easily find or get to the newly molted ones.
