He turns blue before he molts (I noticed it around his claws). However I haven't seen much of a color change after he molts (mainly because I'm not around enough). He's molted twice so far. He is also a slightly darker color than the picture. It has been really interesting watching his color come out because he was so stressed when I got him that he was almost pure white. (He's calmed down quite a bit. ;D)

@Kitty- lol, that's what I'm waiting for. :P (I want the benefits of them being underground) Plus the Rosys are constantly hunting for stuff in the rocks so I doubt a problem will occur with the population. XP (then there are the other fish that only nibble on the shells because they are too small to eat them whole)

That's what I got them for. ;D

Ok, either they are all where they are supposed to be or they were all eaten. :K (I didn't find any on my CAE's cucumber, which the Rosys decided to eat as well. :K)

The funny thing is that one of my mom's betta tanks had an explosion of them. :o I'd love to take them but they happened to chose the tank that has some odd disease in it. :/ (The betta can't swim properly at all)

On other news, I saw my Cray shed his skin. :o It looked like someone was ripping him apart. :O (he is even browner now)

Yep, I must be doing something right. ^^

lol, they'd get eaten in a day, tops.

Maybe I should. I can set up a 1 gallon of mine with sand or keep them in my emergency 10 gal (which will make them much harder to catch :P). I think the ten gallon would be healthiest for them (though they'd have to share it with some injured/sick fish is something were to happen or fry.

Ah. I have almost decided on my final stocking for the 75 gal. :D
x7 Zebra Danios (with a mixture of blues, golds, and leopards)
x7 Glowlight Danios
x1 CAE (unless I rehome her)
x9 Rosy Barbs (I hope these guys breed; I can get $3.50 store credit for them at my lfs. :D)
x6 Guppies

I also have a few minnows and I want to increase their school. Should I move them to the 10 gal or add them to the 75?
one possibility: +8 to the 75 gal (AQ adviser says that my tank would be 104% stocked)
another: +6 with only 6 of each danio? (AQ says that this will make it 100%)

I know larger schools are better so would just slightly overstocked be ok? (as long as I maintain the water changes?)

I could also lower the guppy count but I really want at least 2 males in it. D:

wont the barb nip at their tails? there might be problems then.i think the stock list is ok for a 75 gallon as all the fishes aren't that huge the largest in there would be the rosy's.that's like 30 fishes in a 75 i won't say it's overstocked

Ah, Rosy Barbs are much nicer than Tigers. :P (and can actually be easily kept in a peaceful active tank)

I have these tiny cute little feeder guppies and the barbs haven't killed any (when they can practically be swallowed in one bite). Plus a school (min 6 and I have 9) will greatly reduce any aggression.

I'm pretty sure the fancy guppies will be fine. :3 (if not, I do have a store nearby that will take fish in for half their store credit)

Yeah, it's an awesome store. :3 I once took back these two evil Pearl Danios and exchanged them for a single Glowlight Danio. :D (the only thing that I don't like is how pricey their fish can get. :P)

My town used to have another awesome local store with all types of freshwater and saltwater fish (and tons of plants) but they relocated awhile ago. D;

I can't wait also. :3 (I'll be fixing my danio numbers in June a long with ordering some floating plants and replacing the small lighting (24") to a 48" one instead. ;D (I'll add the guppies after this)
