I have 1 ppm Ammonia in my tap water. With my fish aquariums I've just used Prime to detoxify it for 24 hours and by the end of that the bacteria in the aquarium have converted it all to Nitrates. My question is, are shrimp so sensitive that this won't work, or will they be fine? Of course, the shrimp aquarium will be cycled before I add the shrimp.

Prime is fine with shrimp, just don't over dose it. I have a red cherry shrimp breeding tank that I use prime on and all the shrimps are healthy and makin' babies. lol
