I just fed my fish when out of the corner of my eye I saw something attached to the floating heater part. I took it out and noticed it was a teeny tiny snail, I have looked carefully for more but this seems to be the only one. The live plants I have had 2 weeks, so there is a possibilty it came from them but if it a baby mystery snail wouldnt I have noticed the eggs or something? Is there anyway I can tell if it is a mystery snail because at the moment it is VERY small. I am quite excited as you can tell lol

Mystery snails don't lay their eggs underwater. They lay pinkish clusters of eggs about the size and shape of your thumb above the waterline. If you never noticed any egg clusters like that, I'd guess the snails you're seeing are pond snails that came in with your plants.
