I would love to add a few hermit crabs. However, everywhere I go I see them with dry land. Is there any kind of hermit crab I can put in a fish tank that has no dry land?
I have never heard of a truely aquatic freshwater hermit crab. Every species I have ever seen for freshwater needs to have a way to get out of the water and the tanks they are kept in rarely have more than a water bowl in them as a water source. There are species of crab that are fresh water and cold be kept in an aquarium though so that is an option.
I have only heard of marine (Saltwater) Hermit Crabs as far as water is concerned. Terrestrial (land) Hermit Crabs are easy to care for if you can't find anything more desirable.
