I posted a problem previously (
http://goo.gl/HLVO), but may have an additional one.
I have my mystery snail in a "breeder", so he is separated from all other tank inhabitants. He seemed to be recovering from his previous problem, as he was placing his foot flat on the bottom, but not yet moving around well.
I placed a gravel stone, attached to an air pump, in his little area to make sure he has plenty of oxygen, since he can't crawl to the top. Unfortunately, today, I looked in the tank and part of his shell was on top of the air stone. One little stream of air was going under his shell and all of a sudden something popped, he was knocked backwards, and all of the air came out from under his shell.
I'm afraid that his mantle may have collapsed. :( His shell now seems to rest on his head whenever he has it out.
I've attached a picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.
