Finally! Baby RCS!!!

I just happened to be feeding my fish and was looking over my primary shrimp tank, when I noticed little baby shrimps. :bounce:

I received some shrimp a few months ago and some of them having eggs. I haven't seen any baby shrimps for a long time, so I thought I was doing something wrong. I thought maybe the plants I had in there, especially the naja grass, was taking up allot of the nitrates and nutrients that the little organisms that the shrimp feed on, were being taken up. The only thing I did to this tank, compared to my other tank, which contained my L-046 zebra and RCS tank, was lower the temp to about 79°F. Everyday I watch and stare at the tank looking and hoping for little baby shrimp, when finally I saw little baby shrimp. Tiny little tikes.

The only problem is, I was going to transition all the plants and shrimp into a 29 gallon tank before new years and I'm worried I will not be able to catch all the baby shrimp.

Yep. My L-046 zebra tank has only about 10 RCS and I was thinking about buying more shrimps, since it looks kind of empty with very little shrimp. Now since I have babies from my shrimp tank, I can move some shrimp over and I don't have to worry about buying more shrimp.

Just spotted a few baby RCS in my L-046 zebra pleco tank also. 2 births in 2 different tanks. I thought temps was a factor, but the L-46 zebra tank is about 3 degrees warmer than the primary shrimp tank.
