Just from wandering around on the internet it seems like these guys are a lot more common in Europe than in the States. Lots of Youtube videos of CPO's in Germany and such.

That's why CPO are so popular really cause you can house them with any smaller non aggressive fish in a planted tank and they won't harm no one (thou the fish may eat their fry). These are Dwarf Crayfish and their behavior is diff by miles from your electric blue you had!

Absolutely true! That's where I got addicted to them and a lot people have them in their set ups rather then shrimp and I was certain when we moved back home since they're org from Mexico I'd have no issue finding them here - right-!? WRONG! You really have a hard time finding them here and if you do a pair or trio is not 12 bucks but more like 60....

Is totally jealous. I wonder how well they'd behave with a pair of GBR. I've read conflicting conversations on weither or not they eat Cherry Shrimp.

I bet I'd have to special order them here too.

Did I mention jealous?

I saw a blue crab at the LFS the other day. Is that the same thing? It looked a lot like yours, only blue. Is it a CPO or uhhh a blue crab? lol
